What are the advantages to Invisalign?

The advantages of Invisalign are two-fold. The most obvious advantage is that the aligners are nearly invisible, meaning many people won't notice that you're wearing orthodontic appliances. The second important advantage is that the aligners are removable, meaning you can eat, brush and floss just like usual.

How does Invisalign work?

If we determine that you are a good candidate for Invisalign during your initial consultation, we will develop a detailed treatment plan just for you, as well as an Invisalign cost estimate.

Your dentist will take impressions and photographs of your teeth which, along with the treatment plan, will be sent to to Align Technologies headquarters. There, the instructions will be transformed using 3D computer technology into a series of precisely customized aligners. During treatment, you'll wear each set of aligners for about two weeks. The aligners will move your teeth in small increments until the final result is achieved: straight teeth!

Most Invisalign patients don't have to visit the dentist any more often than they would with traditional braces, and the treatment duration is more or less the same.
